Service Projects
Purpose: Develop and implement educational, humanitarian, and vocational projects that address the need of the community and that support the Rotary Foundation through both financial contributions and program participation
Responsibilities:
- Hold meetings of the committee to assure fulfillment of its responsibilities
- Review budget expectation for fundraising
- Establish a plan to raise the necessary funds
- Assign coordinators for all events and provide coordinator with procedure
- Implement both fund raising activities and those activities in which members participate in support of local charities
- Fish Fry
- River Rendezvous
- Run/Walk
- Lobsterfest
- Highway Clean Up
- Salvation Army Bell Ringing at Christmas
- Kan Kool participation to set up and distribute items to children
- Investigate need and develop plan for Simplified District Grant
- Create and implement mechanism to record actual participation of members at all events and forward data to Secretary
